Changeling movie synopsis
Changeling
is the latest movie from Oscar winning director Clint EastwoodSet back in 1920s LA and based loosley on the Wineville Chicken Murders it stars Angelina Jolie as Christine Collins; a grief strinken Mother whose son has been kidnapped.
She is reunited with her son however all is not well as she suspects that the returned child is not her own.
Christine with these claims but is vilified as an unfit mother by the authorities who do not believe her claim.
She bravely confronts the corrupt city authorities in the Los Angeles Police Department in order to find out the truth about what happend to her son in a film which the story behind it seems even more harrowing due to its basis on real life events.
The reallife names of all the people have been retained in this movie, however Clint Eastwood had asked for the words 'based on a true story' to be taken off the studio press release.
The Changeling (2008) movie is a moving drama from and holds true to Eastwoods' style of great story telling. Changling is due for relase in 2008/2009.
